English Olympiad

Aaditya Sabharwal (IX A) won cash prize of Rs. 2500,  Zonal Silver Medal & Certificate of Zonal Excellence. Aryan Wasan (X A) & Rajveer Singh Chawla (VI A) won Merit Certificates.

Maths Olympiad

Jasmine Kaur (X B), Mehak (IX A) ,Kabir Thapar (VII C), & Aryan Sodhi (VI C) won Merit Certificates.

Award For Contribution to Student Development

BBPS Ludhiana, has been accredited with ‘Award For Contribution to Student Development’. The School Principal has been presented with ‘Entrepreneurial Principal of the Year’ award organised by Radio Mirchi in collaboration with CT University organised Education Excellence Awards 2019.

Inter-School Declamation contest(English and Punjabi)

Bal Bharatians, Mehak and Vedanta Nanda of class IX participated in an Inter-School Declamation contest organised by Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust. They expounded their views in English and Punjabi. Vedanta Nanda stood second position in Punjabi and received trophy.

CBSE X Board Examination (2018-19)

Bal Bharatians shone in class X Board Examination conducted in March 2019. Besides keeping the legacy of 100% pass result the students outshone in academics as well as sports. 25% students scored above 90%. Arisht Jain, the topper of school who scored 96%, is State Player of Chess. Seerat Kaur, the winner of International Robotics Championship bagged second place in school by scoring 95.8%, and 100% marks in Maths. Amisha Chess Player scored 95.6 %. Budhisha stood fourth by scoring 95.2%. The sports stars of the school proved their mettle in academics also. National Player of Table Tennis Garima Bansal scored 92.6%, Anna Wasan, the National player of Athletics, scored 88.8% .The State Player of Athletics Medni Kharbanda scored 92.4%.State Player of Chess Kanishk Garga scored 91.4%. State Players of Badminton Gursahib Singh scored 92.4%. Winner of International Robotics Championship, Somansh and Prabal scored 87%.

CBSE XII Board Examination (2018-19)

Bal Bharatians shone in class XII Board Examination conducted in March 2019. Besides keeping the legacy of 100% pass result the students outshone in academics as well as sports. 94% students secured 1st Japneet Kaur, the topper of school scored 97% in Humanities stream.

Fashion Week Chandigarh Audition

Naurin Verma rocked the stage with her stylish Ramp Walk in India Kids Fashion Week Chandigarh Audition. She was acknowledged with the Title Lil. Miss Fashionable.

Best performance trophies

Six students of BBPS named Annika Uppal, Tanveen Kaur and Mannat Chopra got I,II and III position respectively while Hansika Jangra, Hemanya Chawla and Anveen Kaur got best performance trophies for attaining 100 % marks in their respective terms and categories.

Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan– State Level Competition (20th Jan 2019)

Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan –‘A prestigious Science Talent Search Examination’ State Level Competition was held  at Jalandhar, Punjab. Three Bal Bharatians Aryan Wasan of IX-A, Mehak of VIII- C and Keskireet of VII-A were selected for state level competition through an online exam held on 25 Nov 2018. In State level these three students appeared for three types of exams- Application Oriented Scholastic Aptitude Test, Experimental Skilled Test and Analytical Scientific Film Test.

Annual event of Robotex International(30th Nov--2nd Dec, 18)

A team of 10 students strived to participate in an annual event of Robotex International held in Tallinn, Estonia from 30th Nov.2018 to 2nd Dec.2018. Bal Bharatians competed with 165 teams participated in two out of six categories.

Gursahib Singh, Arisht Jain, Pratham Garg, Medni Kharbanda and Seerat Kaur grabbed trophy for the Best Team Work. Udai Batta, Irvish Singh, Yadvi Garg, Jasmine Kaur Chauhan and Mannat Sood proved their mettle by knocking the trophy of Fastest Lego Line Following.

All India Talent Hunt Exam( ANTHE 2018)

The school hosted an All India Talent Hunt Exam under the name ANTHE, 2018 in association with Akash Group to foster a competitive spirit in the students. A total of 158 Bal Bharati students became the part of the event and the overall strength in the centre was 400.

Humming Bird Multiple Intelligence Test(30 Nov,18) 

 168 Bal Bharatians participated in the Humming Bird Multiple Intelligence Test conducted by the Science Department in association with the Humming Bird Olympiad Education Pvt. Ltd on Friday, 30 November, 2018 in the school premises.

Problem Solving Olympiad

 73 Bal Bharatians from class VI to XII participated in the Problem Solving Olympiad. All the students took the test with determination, carefully attempting the questions to emerge as the best in their respective categories.

SOF Computer Olympiad (27 Nov. 2018)

BBPS bagged 8 Gold, 7 Silver and 5 Bronze medals in SOF Computer Olympiad conducted in the school premises on   27 Nov. 2018.

An Inter School French Language Competition (16 Nov,18)

An Inter School French Language Competition was conducted at BBPS Ldh. on 16 Nov. 2018. The school bagged third prize at District Level by achieving 40 points.

Mehak of class VIII-C bagged first position in an on-the-spot activity and was awarded with an exotic Bluetooth Speaker. Shriya Puri of class VIII achieved third position. Aarav Sharma of class X bagged first position in his respective category. All winners were awarded with smart watches, trophies and certificates.

Spell Bee Test (15 November, 2018)

215 Bal Bharatians from class I to XII participated in the Spell Bee Test conducted by the English Department in association with the Humming Bird Foundation in the school premises on 15 November, 2018.

Declamation in Hindi & English

It was entirely an ecstatic moment for BBPS Ldh. when Jasnoor Kaur (VIII D) bagged second prize in English Declamation. Vedanta Nanda (VIII C) achieved third prize in Hindi. BBPS bagged over-all best team trophy out of 13 teams.

Science Olympiad(Silver Zone Foundation)

BBPS bagged 9 Gold, 8 Silver and 8 Bronze medals in Science Olympiad  conducted by the Science Department in association with the Silver Zone Foundation.

An Inter School Painting Competition on Energy Conservation(26 October 2018)

Under National Awareness Campaign - An Inter School Painting Competition on Energy Conservation was organised under the guidance of Ministry of Power, Govt. of India on 26 October 2018 to promote energy conservation in the country.The best two paintings in each category were Group A (Raunak Singh Lotey and Ravneet Kaur) and Group B (Aryan Gupta, Veer Singh and Jasman Kaur).

Maths Olympiad(SOF)

BBPS achieved 2 Gold, 2 Silver and 3 Bronze Medals in Maths Olympiad conducted by SOF.

9th Inter School Youth Festival -Fusion 2018

Out of 22 teams, Bal Bharati Ludhiana team grabbed first position in 9th Inter School Youth Festival -Fusion 2018 dance competition held at BCM Shastri Nagar, Ludhiana. BBPS always lauds the ceaseless effort made by its scholars. Gurnoor Singh , a 10 years old boy showcased his remarkable performance playing guitar in ‘India ke Mast Kalandar’ on SONY SAB TV. The renowned personalities like Mr. Mika Singh and Ms. Geeta Kapoor judged his unique talent. Mr. Mika Singh offered him chance to join his band.

Inter School/ Polytechnic Cultural Fiesta- Matrix 2018(12th October, 2018)

A team of 15 students from BBPS participated in the Sardar Inderjit Singh Chawla Memorial Inter School/ Polytechnic Cultural Fiesta- Matrix 2018 held in Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology on 12th October, 2018. The fest included various cultural, literary, technical and fashion events. The school students participated in Rangoli, Working Model Display, On the spot camera tricks, Power point Presentation and Fashion Show contest. In the event of Power Point Presentation competition, Joshna Joea (XI C) stood second amongst 22 participants in all. She impressed everyone with her good communication skills and confidence.

TURF-2018(12th October, 2018)

Students from more than 20 schools enthusiastically took part in the “TURF-2018” event. The students from class VI to XII proved their talent and ability in various categories like Modelling, Group dance, Oven Love and LAN Gaming. Gurleen Sandhu won Ms Turf 2018 title and Ishaan Rana bagged 2nd runner Mr. Turf 2018 title. The school group dance team bagged 3rd The students were awarded certificates and cash prices.

LSSC Inter school Folk dance competition 2018

BBPS team of 12 girls from class VII to IX, grabbed the Winning trophy by giving a tough competition to 20 teams from various schools in LSSC Inter school Folk dance competition 2018 at DCM Presidency School, Jamalpur .Mehak Manjju (VII), Gurleen Kaur Rajput (VIII), Prabhleen Kaur (VIII) , Jasman Kaur (VIII), Mehak (VIII), Chriya Puri(VIII) Japjeet Kaur (IX), Tarushi Garg (IX) Bhahat Walia(IX) Jasnoor Kaur Alag (IX) Srishti Aggarwal (IX) Dilraaz Jabbal (IX) captivated the audience with their unique Cheraw Dance performance.

4th International Humanity Olympiad(31st August, 2018)

The IT Department of school conducted 4th International Humanity Olympiad by the Satyug Darshan Trust (Regd.), Faridabad for classes VI to XII in computer labs on 31st August, 2018. The objective of the Olympiad is to uplift mankind based on values of humanity, morality and ethics. 328 students appeared, out of which 250 cleared the exam by scoring more than 40%. Aadiraj Singh of class VII, the school winner, scored 82%.

Inter School Shabad Gayan Competition ( 27 Aug.2018)

8 students participated in Inter School Shabad Gayan Competition on 27 Aug.2018 at G.N.P.S. Sarabha Nagar Ldh. They were well appreciated by all.

LSSC English Declamation contest  (25 August 2018)

LSSC English Declamation contest was held on 25 August 2018 where in 27 schools participated. Guneet Kaur of class IX and Jaskanav Singh of class XI expounded their views on topics- 'Don't limit a child to your own learning, for he was born in another world' and 'Should youth of India consider politics as career?' respectively. They were appreciated by all.

Ludhiana Schools Sahodaya Competition for Punjabi Declamation (24th August,2018)

Budhisha (Std. X) and Manmeet Kaur (Std. XI) participated in Ludhiana Schools Sahodaya Competition for Punjabi Declamation held at Atam Public School on 24th August,2018. Budhisha got second prize in the competition.

Inter School Debate (18th August, 2018)

Two students of BBPS participated in the Inter School Debate conducted by The Tribune Trust on 18th August, 2018 at BVM School, Ludhiana.

Japneet Kaur (Std. XII) expounded on the benefits of AT whereas Tannistha (Std. X) with her reasoned arguments and rational approach spoke against the Artificial Technology.

Amisha Guglani and Gaurvii Sood of class X brought laurels to school by achieving city rank 6 and 9 respectively.

Aryan Wasan of IX proved his mettle by bagging rank 10 in the city.

Modeling Competition by Art Academy, Ludhiana (1st July 2018)

Gurleen Sandhu, a student of Std. VIII participated in Modeling Competition conducted , she got 2nd runners up position out of 137 participants.

Science Fest at GNPS, Ludhiana  2018 (5th May 2018)

Arshdeep Singh & Aryan Bansal of XII B won 2nd Prize in the PowerPoint presentation on the topic e-waste on 5th May 2018.

Swastika , Lakshita, Harshit, Dhruv, Kriti, Siddhi, Harleen, Japjeet, Jasnoor, Shrishti , students of Classes VI-IX participated in Choreography highlighting the theme of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. They brought laurels to the school by winning 3rd Prize in this category competing with 28 schools of Ludhiana.

Inter School Declamation and Quiz in Commerce (3rd May 2018)

Inter School Declamation and Quiz in Commerce was held at BVM Public School, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana on 3 May 2018. 12 schools participated in this competition. Shlok Mittal and Amberjit Singh of class XII and Jaskanav of class XI brought laurels to school by getting 3rd prize in Quiz Competition and Manmeet Kaur of class XI got Consolation prize in Declamation Contest.

Inter School Declamation in Hindi at Nehru Sidhant Kendra (3rd May 2018)

Nehru Sidhant Kendra, Ludhiana organised Inter School Hindi Declamation on  3rd May 2018. 46 students of 23 schools (from IX to XII) participated in this competition. Buddhisha Nanda of class X A won 3rd prize .

Hindi Declamation Contest ‘Techno Feast 2017(14th Oct.2017)

Buddisha Nanda got 1st prize in Hindi Declamation Contest "Techno Feast 2017" held on 14 October 2017.

Ludhiana Sahodya School Dance Competition

BBPS got 3rd prize in LSSC Dance Competition held on 18th Oct. Total 24 teams participated.

Space Astro Podcast Contest 2017

Tanveer of Class IX-A got 3rd position in Astro Podcast competition in the category IX-XII organized by Space Club. More than 2000 students from all over India had participated in the competition.

Inter House Patriotic Dance Competition  (11 Aug.2017)       

An Inter-House Dance competition was organized in school to instill the feeling of nationalism among the students. Mars house students presented a wonderful dance number themed on ‘Women Empowerment in Independent India’. ‘The Tribute to the Living legends’, was another musical and dance medley performed by Venus house. This dance was a complement to the great sports personalities and renowned artists. The Mercury house tapped their feet on variety of musical compositions. The scenic beauty of the country was depicted through the dance item ‘Vande Materam’ presented by Earth house.  Venus house was declared winner.

Bonn Bread Art Competition  ( 11-18 Aug.2017)

Bonn Bread Art Competition was organised from 11-18 August where various topics like Plants, my Friend, Save Water, Save Electricity, Save Fuel and Reduce Air Pollution were given to the students.

  • In Group III (class V-VI) Veer Singh bagged first, Simarjot Singh won Second and Manpreet Kaur achieved Third position.
  • In Group IV (class VII-VIII) Achievers were Gurleen Kaur Sandhu, Harleen Kaur Sandhu and Ayati Gupta.

 Ludhiana Sahodya School Complex Declamation in Hindi  (8 Aug.2017)

Ludhiana Sahodya School Complex organised Hindi Declamation where 62 students of 31 schools (from IX to XII) participated. Two Bal Bharatians Buddhisha Nanda and Mehak Arora gave a very tough competition to the participants. Budhisha won 1st prize and Mehak’s performance was applauded by everyone.

 Ludhiana Sahodya School Complex organised Punjabi Declamation where 62 students of 31 schools (from IX to XII) participated. Two Bal Bharatians Sukhmeet Singh and Harmanpreet gave a very tough competition to the participants. They were appreciated by all.
