The school has various rules and regulations and students, teachers and parents are required to strictly follow to the code of conduct.
Code of Conduct for Students
- Adhere to all school policies.
- Show respectful behaviour to other students, teachers and other staff members.
- Respect each student's individuality, strengths, and needs.
- Take responsibility of your better performance in academics and personality development.
- Appreciate and respect the cultural diversity.
- Students are expected to have strict adherence to school timings.
- Be punctual and regular in attendance.
- Transit from classroom to laboratories, library, and ground should be done in silence and in an orderly manner.
- Communicate academic progress and school instructions to parents from time to time.
- Students must come to school in neat and clean uniform.
- Students are not permitted to carry mobile phones, valuable electronic devices (iPod, cameras, tablets etc.) and expensive jewellery in the school premises.
- Students are expected not to use foul or offensive language.
- Carefully handle the furniture, equipment, fixtures and appliances in classrooms, library and laboratories. It is strongly advised to refrain from activities such as scribbling or noting on walls, doors or furniture.
- Uphold the reputation of the school by observing an appropriate standard of behaviour in transit to and from the school and when wearing school uniform.
- Behave in a manner which does not endanger the health and safety of themselves or others.
- Showing aggression, fighting and bullying others will invite strict disciplinary action.
- Peer conflicts should be resolved peacefully with mutual understanding or in presence of teachers.
- Refrain from behaviour which would disrupt classroom instruction or act as an obstacle for other students learning.
- No running in corridors, through doorways or up and down stairways.
- Students who are absent from school must provide written explanations from their parents or guardians on the day of return. (Parents are required to inform the school as soon as possible if the student will be absent for more than two consecutive days).
- No student is allowed to enter/come to school on a motorcycle/scooter or car.
Code of Conduct for Parents
- Show respectful attitude towards school authorities, teachers and other parents.
- Encourage children to follow the school’s code of conduct.
- Work in a collaborative manner as education of each child is the joint responsibility of the student, parent, teachers and school administrators.
- Communicate relevant information and concerns to the school.(students medical history and background, details of medication and allergy if any)
- Ensure that children attend school regularly and arrive to and are picked up on time.
- Encourage children to come in a proper school uniform.
- Do ensure that your ward does not carry mobile phones, electronic gadgets, cash or any valuables to school.
- Read written communication received from the school and respond appropriately.
- Parents are requested to come to school during working hours. Make an appointment beforehand if you need to see a class/ subject teacher.
- Any changes in the residential address, telephone number or any other vital information should be promptly intimated in writing to the school.
- Assist and guide your ward in timely completion of home assignments and projects.
- Visit the school website for notifications and updates.
- Encourage your child to have a healthy breakfast before coming to school, ensure that the child has had adequate sleep and is well rested
- Parents are requested to refrain from sending lunch boxes/ notebooks of their wards during school hours.
- PTM should be regularly attended to discuss the performance and progress of the child.
- Encourage and motivate your ward to participate in school activities and events with full enthusiasm.
- Bring to the notice of authorities any case of bullying or abuse that comes to your notice.
- Contact the class teacher for queries and assistance if problems develop that are not resolved by the student.
- Any written communication made by the parents/guardian should be addressed to the Principal. The name of the child, admission number, phone no., class and section should be clearly mentioned in the application. It should be signed by parent.
- In case of medical issues, do not send children to school but ensure to submit a medical certificate to the school. A fitness certificate is to be provided if the child has been suffering from contagious or infectious ailment.
- Do not encourage your ward to come to school on a motorcycle/scooter or car.
